Fall Fashion Trends 09'

Ironicly with the recent launch of Fashion Week Spring/Summer Collection 2010 in New York City in September 2009 and in Paris in October 2009, many fashionista such as Rihanna and Victoria Beckham are rocking the fashion trends for fall. In the photo on the left, singer Rihanna is wearing a big, strong blazer at the Balmain Pret a Porter show in Paris, France.

Although September 23, 2009 is the offical day that fall begins, Teen Vogue september issue, which was on newsstand in late August, talked about the revival of the eighties for the season. In the issue, designers such as Alexander Wang who "always look to the exuberance and variety of the era for inspiration" and Marc Jacobs used bold, vivid eighties pieces in the Fall shows earlier this year.
Fall is bringing back the 80’s chic with a twist, from the puffy mini dresses to the strong, wide shoulder jackets. According to teenvogue.com, fall is full of the layered street style, and mega tall platform heels. Also, be prepared to see a lot of edgy cutout LBD’s and “jeggings” or jeans leggings. Big, bold necklaces and military jackets will sure to make a statement. While thigh-high boots will keep you warm in the bitter months ahead. According to people.com, the twelve must-have trends for fall are: 1)Black Leather 2) Red 3) Sheath Dresses 4) Bright Bags 5) Leopard Print 6) Neon Pink and Black 7) Ruffles 8) Bold Gold Necklaces 9) Sparkly Shoes 10) Embellished T-shirts 11) Dressy Leggings 12) Vintage-Y Jewelry

This year fall fashion is trendy and chic, and will not put a dent in your pocket. With the recent economic crisis, many designers are creating quality, friendly budget lines. Rachel Zoe, fashion stylist to the stars, recently debut her new QVC line of accessories—which includes sunglasses, jewelry, bags and scarves at New York’s fashion week. Anna Sui, designer, also recently debut her “Gossip Girl “inspired line at target. This line consists of pieces that will be made from chiffon and silk. It will be available at target.com and selected target stores from September 13 to October 17. In the October issue of Teen Vogue, Gossip Girl's "fashion mastermind" Eric Daman recently became a creative consultant for Charlotte Russe and is bringing his expertise to the very trendy, affordable store.
With all these chic fashion trends for fall, who can complain about the summer being gone?
